Unlock The Secrets Of Your Hidden Past Lives

“30 Days To Past Life Memories”

Lesson 2

“What exactly IS a Past Life Regression? What actually happens? What does it feel like? Is it scary? Is it safe?

These are some of the questions I most often get asked and I’d like to just go through these right here almost at the start, because I don’t want you to have any niggling doubts, fears or worries as we get more into this. So...

What exactly IS a Past Life Regression?

Well, by definition a Past Life Regression is where you are somehow regressed - or ‘taken back’ - into one of your past lives. For this to happen, there are two premises that you must accept:

First you must accept that you have - or there is the possibility that you have - lived before, in another place and another time.

Second, you must accept that it may be somehow possible to access information from that time - and bring it into your present, conscious, everyday awareness.

When you have a Past Life Regression, that is what you are aiming to do - access that ‘hidden’ information so that it now becomes available to you.

There are many different view points on how you achieve this, where the information is coming from, whether it is true or false, and so on, and we will be discussing those in due course. But for now, lets look at some of the practicalities of a Past Life Regression, so you can know what to expect if you ever decided to do one your self (which I hope you do, because it’s a fascinating experience).

What actually happens?

A standard Past Life Regression will usually proceed in four stages:

    1. A relaxation of mind and body.

    2. The regression taking you back to the Past Life

    3. The Past Life experience itself

    4. Returning to your normal awareness once again.

Step 1 usually involves some form of progressive relaxation hypnotic induction (though not always - soon I will teach you ways of accessing Past Life information that you can do for yourself, almost instantly - but for now let’s stick with the most widely used techniques first of all.)

You will be guided through series of muscle relaxation techniques to first of all still your body, and the once your body begins to relax, your mind can more easily follow. However, it can sometimes be done in revers - if the mind has appropriate stimuli to focus on, this can then create the desired affect in the body.

The overall aim, though is to get you to begin to let go of the normal world for a while - or your awareness of it at least. During this initial stage you are aiming to focus your awareness more inwardly - becoming aware of gradually becoming less aware...This is usually a very relaxing experience and is rather like a pleasant day-dreamy state that you may experience, resting with your eyes closed on a sunny day for example, when you have a few moments to yourself.

However, what is actually happening is your brain waves are beginning to shift into a pattern that takes you closer to sleep - but holds you there, at the edge, like that lovely feeling just before you drop off to sleep when you are very tired. This is the perfect state for hypnosis and for all types of regression, including Past Life Regression

Step 2 is where you are then guided back in time, usually using some form of visualisation. You are now in a meditative state, with your mind ready to drift and wander at will, but this step focusses your mind in the direction of your Past Lives, so your unconscious can begin to take you there.

Again, there are many different ways of achieving this but you will usually be asked to picture, imagine or sense something in some way that will eventually lead you back to a point where you start to access the Past Life Information. This is a transitionary stage - your mind is now much moire open and ready to receive, but we now have to begin to trigger those memories in some way. Once this begins to happen, you are moving into...

Step 3 This is the actual regression experience. At this point you will (hopefully) begin to see or sense something that first of all may seem like complete imagination. It has to, to begin with, because it is coming from a different part of your mind than you are used to. But as you go with it, your mind will usually begin to clear and the details will become more real.

In a fully guided regression, you will usually then be lead through different points of that lifetime. The typical details we are looking to find are evidence of ...

  • Who you are/your name?
  • Your Age
  • Male/Female
  • Your location
  • People around you
  • What you do - your occupation
  • Poignant moments - major life events that cause ‘turning points’ in that life time.
  • Relationships with different people - as well as checking to see if you recognise anybody from your current lifetime.
  • Unresolved issues - upsets, feelings and emotions that may have carried over from one life to the next and be affecting it in some way.
  • The end of that lifetime - where you end up, how you die and so on.
  • Anything you can learn or bring with you that may be useful nowadays.
  • Anything else that your mind wants to reveal, that is important for you to know or understand right now.

Step 4 is where you are brought back to the present, bringing the memories of that experience with you. This is usually done by encouraging your mind that it is time to let go of that particular lifetime (though often this just happens quite naturally anyway) and gradually counting yourself back to your full awareness whereupon you open your eyes in the present and rest for a few moments.

(I usually also recommend an extra step of writing down your experience as soon as you can afterwards because that can really help you get the most out of your experience - and I’ll explain more about that in a later lesson.)

After that, you tend to wander back out into the normal world, a little day dreamy, a little thoughtful, but usually quite calm and relaxed.

What does it actually feel like?

To be honest, this really does vary from person to person, as well as from time to time. The same person might have a quite profound experience one day, but fall asleep the next - it depends upon quite a few factors and, again, we’ll cover that in more detail in a later lesson so you can set up the optimum conditions for a Past Life regression.

Generally speaking though, your experience will probably fall into one of the following categories

1. Absolutely Nothing Happens

2. Vague snapshots or images, that don’t really make sense

3. Images and scenes that start off vague and become more clear as the regression progresses.

4. Quite a detailed experience, with clear scenes and images, as well as an understanding of feelings and emotions involved, but still detached in some way, like a witness as opposed to a participant.

5. A more full-on experience, almost as if you are actually there, seeing, feeling taking part.

The majority of people are usually around the 3 or 4 category. People who are excellent hypnotic subjects will usually be closer to the ‘5’ category. people with a strong amount of fear or resistance, will be more likely to be a ‘1’ or ‘2’. Most people, with a slight amount of trepidation and an open mind will usually have a very good experience, but may take a little practice  to get used to allowing the information to come through in detail.

So what you actually will largely depend upon which of those categories you fall into. Most of the time it feels like you are watching something, observing ‘yourself’ in that time, but on other occasions you will appear to be actually seeing through ‘your own’ eyes. Often it may be a mixture of the two.

From my experience, you will only ever experience physical sensations if it is important - and helpful - for you to do so. Most of the time, it is as if the physical sensations are switched off. The emotional sensations are quite important, because it is often these that carry forward. Again, you will only feel or sense something if it is appropriate for you to do so, but the feelings will usually feel quite familiar to you.... as I explained in my own experience in Lesson 1.

It may take a little while for you to learn to trust, to let go, and this can be a barrier too - sometimes consciously, sometimes unconsciously, but can soon get past this.

(A lady using  Mypastlife recently told me how at first she couldn’t get through the ‘doorway’ - and even resorted to kicking and punching it - but to no avail and so had to give up. The second time she managed to get through, but then suddenly found herself wide awake. However, on the third attempt, the door opened easily and she had one of the most details experience’s I have ever heard of. Sometimes it just takes a little while for our minds top be ready).

Generally speaking, a Past Life Regression is quite a relaxing experience, rather like a pleasant daydream, but one which you can get drawn into and begin to live as if it is real, for a few moments. At the end you normally feel calm, relaxed and refreshed. (And sometimes a little puzzled - or Gob-smacked, even, as happened to a private client I regressed last week).

If you treat a Past Life Regression as some relaxing time out for you to have an interesting and enjoyable experience, it most likely will be.

Is it scary? Is it safe?

It’s only scary if you are afraid of the unknown - which most of us are to some extent, but once you’ve had your first regression you’ll realise that there is really no need to be scared at all.

Some of the scenes or experiences people describe may seem scary - but when you are the one going through it, you are usually just taking in information and understanding, rather than being lost in the emotions.

Your mind protects you absolutely, so you will only ever experience[ what is appropriate for you to experience at any particular time.

Is it safe?

Is it safe to sleep? Is it safe to daydream? The information is already there in your mind - you are just bringing it to your conscious awareness. It is how you respond to and use that information or experience that really matters.

If you don’t like finding things out about yourself - don’t have a Past Life Regression -  because what you find out may scare you and make you feel unsafe. However, if you are happy to explore and enjoy discovering more about the ‘truth’ and setting yourself free of limitations, then it will be a more enlightening experience. An adventure can be scary or exciting - threatening or safe, depending upon the adventurer.

I’ve had some quite ‘graphic’ - and even disturbing experiences at times - but I have always, always felt safe - and of course lived to tell the tale!

That’s all for today.

In the next lesson we’re going to look at some ideas around the subject of where the information comes from and how we access it - as well as give you something very profound to think about, which may change the way you think about life forever!

Until then,

My very best wishes,
