Unlock The Secrets Of Your Hidden Past Lives

“30 Days To Past Life Memories”

Lesson 8

Factors affecting your Past Life Regression and how to get better results

By now I hope you’ve been able to experiment with some of the ideas I’ve put forward so far. Maybe you’ve even had some interesting experiences of your own - I certainly hope so.

But I’m also aware that you may have found it difficult, frustrating or even had no results at all so far - sometimes this happens when you’ve forked out a huge sum to go see a Past Life therapist too, which is even worse.

What I want to go through today are some ideas that will greatly improve your chances of success, so that whether you are using the self-regression techniques taught here, exploring with the My Past Life program, or paying to go see a therapist, you will come out with something interesting and worthwhile and at last feel that you are getting somewhere.

Preparation

Much of this has to do with preparation - getting yourself in the right state of mind and body. If you decide to do a regression because you have 10 minutes to spare before you go out for the evening and your mind is buzzing about where you’ll be going and what you’ll be doing, you’re probably not going to get anywhere.

If you think of Past Life memories as always being there in your mind, but in the background, what you have to do is clear away the noise and clutter before you can bring them to the surface. Of course, the Spontaneous Regression method I mentioned last time can shortcut this, but there we are using a strong emotion as the link to make a direct connection.

However, if you decide you wish to explore with more of an open mind as to what may happen, you need to set aside some time. For example, the My Past Life program takes about 40 minutes to lead you on a complete exploration and if you do this by yourself using the methods taught here you should allow for at least that too.

Take Time

I recommend setting aside an hour. That’s a whole hour where you absolutely ensure you will not be disturbed - take your home phone off the receiver, and switch OFF your mobile or cell phone (I promise you will survive without it for an hour, for those of you who feel anxious at such a suggestion). And I do recommend you switch it off COMPLETELY - not just on ’vibrate’ or ‘silent’ - otherwise you will still be listening out for it unconsciously. Switch it off completely and relax for an hour.

Prepare the Room

If it is bright daylight with TV noise next door and perhaps a little too cold (or too hot even) you will probably be distracted and find it hard to let go.

What I suggest is that you draw the curtains or close the blinds and dim the lighting right down. Make sure the room is quiet. If there is background noise disturbing you, use headphones with some very quiet relaxing music in your ears. Have it just loud enough to cover up the external noise, and preferably choose something that is more subliminal - ie no rousing chorus’s or meaningful verses - something that just drifts or floats along in the background will be best.

Make sure that you feel warm. As you enter an altered state of consciousness - which you can/will learn to do if you keep at it - your body temperature will probably drop by about 2 - 3 degrees - so making sure you are warm and cosy at the start is always a good move.

If you live somewhere that is very hot, find a way to feel cooler for a while so that you become unaware of the room temperature - that’s what you are ideally looking for.

Ensure that you will not be disturbed. If you are aware that someone may walk in at any moment you may be less likely to relax than if you know you have the room to yourself for a while absolutely.

Prepare Your Body

Your mind will usually relax and let go much more easily if your body is relaxed. Sometimes I recommend taking a warm bath beforehand. The warm bath will relax your muscles and help loosen tensions. Any tensions you release beforehand physically, means less tensions for you to release mentally.

When you settle down to begin the Regression choose somewhere comfortable where your body is completely supported. This could be a comfortable armchair, a bed or anywhere personal to you - but it will greatly enhance your experience if you feel you can let go of every muscle in your body, so that you are free of as much tension as possible. However, if you get too comfortable - lying down in bed with quilt to keep you warm, for example, you are more likely to fall asleep, which will be less productive.

Ideally, choose a position where you feel you could go to sleep if you really wanted, but a position that is more favourable for settling back with your eyes closed for a while. If you use a bed, for example, prop yourself up with pillows. If you have a hard chair to sit, use a cushion or pillow.

Do whatever it takes to make yourself feel comfortable enough to drift off to sleep, without actually doing so!

Prepare Your Mind

As I said earlier, if you are trying to fit in a quick regression between appointments in sin your daily schedule, you probably won’t get  very far. taking time out will allow your mind time to prepare.

If you have ‘things to do’ buzzing through your mind write them down beforehand. That way they will be more out of your head - and you don’t have to worry about forgetting/remembering later.

If you have stresses, angers, or frustrations, etc., these will come up to the surface as soon as you close your eyes - so again write them down before hand to clear your mind (unless you are using the Spontaneous technique, in which case the feelings may be your direct link).

Also, one of the most important mind preparations you can do is to let go of any expectations. If you go looking for results from a Past Life Regression, it will be like feeding squirrels in the park when you walk towards them too quickly. However, if you settle back and let go, with patience you can be amazed at what creeps up and approaches your everyday awareness.

Let go of Fear

Lots of people tell me they are interested in Past Life Regression but are afraid of what might happen or how they might feel and so on. Even the most troublesome of my own regressions have actually been quite ‘pleasant’ in their own way, and the majority of people report the same experience. When you are actually going through it, you usually feel absolutely fine. But you need to let go of fear and anxiety in order to achieve that.

Much of this is just the fear of the unknown - so I suggest to take it gently first of all. Get used to the relaxing part, and get accustomed to how it begins to fee in your body as you let go. If you are using the My Past Life program, as I know many of you are, get used to the intro part first of all, before it leads you down deeper into the regression.

If you are practising by yourself, set a timer somewhere for 10 mins to begin with, and just get used to resting quietly in your chosen position with your eyes closed, focussing on the feelings or sensation in your body. Get used to the idea that you can let yourself slide down... but can also be back in an instant if you choose to do so.

Once you learn that you are in COMPLETE CONTROL you begin to feel a whole lot safer. And as you feel a lot safer you find you can relax more, which will release more profound experiences into your mind.

Find your ideal time

This is something I’ve noticed can have quite a considerable impact. For me personally, the ideal time for these kind of explorations is early evening, a good hour or so after I’ve eaten, but well before I’m tired enough to want to go to bed. If I try in the afternoon, my mind is just too ‘buzzy’ - I tend to think I should be doing something else. If I try in the morning I just can’t switch off. If I do it too late, I’m asleep before I’ve got anywhere

You will have your own personal ideal time, so experiment and always observe what you experience. Everything will add to your learning if you absorb the information in the right way. Tried it in the morning but no result? - do it in the evening next time. Too tired in the evening - try late morning, when you’ve done your initial chores but have an hour spare to relax before the afternoon, for example.

Your own personal lifestyle, living and working arrangements will largely determine many of these factors but there will be an ideal time for you - have patience and you will find it.

 Practice

Like so many things in life, the more you do this the better you get. Some people seem to have profound experiences the moment they close their eyes - others of us have to work at it. But I do know that if you follow these simple guidelines and be kind, patient and gentle with yourself, you will get there.

Put these ideas into practice and I am sure they will be useful to you. In the next few lessons we will start to look at ways to investigate life issues and see if we can help you begin to find some of the answers to your own personal mysteries.

Until then,

Very best wishes,
