The first time i heard about past lives was when i read Sylvia Browne’s ”Everything There Is To Know About The Paranormal”.
So i decided to do a little more research…and so i ran across your website (Thank God I did). I was wondering if unreasobale fears have to do anything with past lives- (which i think they do). I have this undescribable fear of lightning and of hearing of people getting their legs or arms amputated.
So i think that in one of my past lives i might have died in such way..so like i said..im glad that i ran across your website to help myself discover my past life mysteries.

just tell me last year about my life
I had dreams about me being a soldier in vietnam. It happend when I was about 6 or 7 years old. I had never watched a movie or documentory on the war nor did my mum or nan talk about it. In my dreams I was very angry at the army and they seem’d so real that to this day I can still remember them. Everytime I hear, smell, see or touch something it feels familier but I cant quite figure out why. I would dearly love to know who I was as I can remeber vaigly the face but I dont remember my name ever being used. I know it wasnt the person I am now but I would like to know what haapend to him and why he decided to come back into this life again.

I’m getting your free lessions on past life regression & recd. lession six. Today I tried it. As I started following the instructions, immediatly & just on my very first attempt I saw a apeman(with lion like hairs on neck, as see in pictures) running & running in a deep forest. I just released myself as you advised. But till now I’m seeing that picture in my conscious mind.
What does it mean? Is it simply my imagination or I get the first glimpse of past life. If so, pl. guide me how to analyse it to extract useful information.

Thanks for telling me about your experience.
It’s difficult to say exactly but as I believe that your mind can tap into any place and any time, it is perfectly reasonable for that to be a past or other life experience.
I have had private clients who have accessed similar experiences.
If you wish to explore further just go with it and write things down as described in the previous lessons.

yes, i believe in reincarnation and the fact that one can experience their past lives. i have visited a few past lives of mine and when i saw them, i realized that there was a pattern in all of them, similar to one in my current life, which promted me to understand the direction i am supposed to take in my current life. i am now also a past life regression therapist, practicing in delhi, india.

Frankly speaking, I am very skeptical about the ‘Past Life’ stuff and I have valid reasons for this. Following are the reasons.
a) The population of humans on earth today is the highest since the birth of civilization. Prior to this century it was not even half of this. Then how can every person on earth have a past life ?
b) Suppose a person in past life was born in a different culture and spoke a different language. How can the person identify what is going on when he/she is supposed to be viewing his/her past life?
c) As we know our mind is a very powerful ‘movie maker’. Many times we have such vivid dreams which is way beyond our conscious imagination. Also as we know our subconscious mind keeps noting things that our conscious mind is not aware of. Then is it not possible that in a state of hypnosis, our mind can create a more ‘powerful’ movie then it creates in a state of dream using all the things in the subconscious mind ?
Anybody got a reply to Sadhashiv? – there’s some interesting points raised there…?

Is the past life theory based only on human lives? What if you consider the depleting population of other creatures too? I am sure that will answer some of the questions raised by you.
Yes, human mind can imagine and probably it *is* imagination some times. I am not really sure. But at the same time please remember that there have been incidents where people have actually gone back and established the past life experiences with real history.

I BELIEVE CONTINUITY OF LIFE AND OUR THINKING OF PRESENT MOMENT IS THE BASIS OF FUTURE COURSE OF LIFE .
Sadashiv: on reading your comments I was particularly struck with comment (b) about languages. Myunderstanding is that you are effecitvely opening a window to yourself in another time/level and not a “stranger” within another body. Therefore, it would make sense that you would automatically have all the understanding and language skills acquired during that lifetime at your disposal – I believe you would just “slot into place” and pick up from there.
Point (c) an interesting and plausible possibility, but then again, could it not be that the deep subconcsious/vivid dreams are but windows/reflections/memories of another time? As John mentioned, there are too many accounts which can be traced, not just historical, I am talking about everyday people who would have had no normal knowledge of events, people etc., yet can trace the details back.
John: Interesting thought about the animals – I am not sure about animal to human as direct reincarnation (but again without proof you cannot discount it and it is an interesting idea) but it does raise an interesting point about the energy source within that animal. I firmly believe that everything has an internal “energy” and have done since a small child. Whether that “energy” could transfer across would be an interesting concept – maybe that would explain why you get people who relate directly and so closely with some animals, particularly the wilder untamed ones!
I also have a testimonial from someone who had a regression experience, using my download, as an Elven-like creature, which I will add to the website soon.
She was a little wary telling me because of what I might think, but is happy to share the experience.
Plus, the guy who taught me Past Life Regression many years ago (Walter Broadbent) told me that the previous week he had he carried out a Past Life Regression on the singer Boy George, in which he had basically just been hovering above a lake – some sort of ‘flying creature’ – or pure consciousness?
It is my understanding that all such experiences are available to us, but our beliefs need to be open enough to allow it.

I think if she is willing to share it, it would be interesting to read – as you say, all types of experiences are open to us and must therefore be considered.
In your comment about Boy George flying over the lake, I find it easier to accept the idea of pure “floating” consciousness rather than some sort of hovering creature – is that strange? It just seems more natural to me!
I have believed in reincarnation for as long as I can remember and used to be scared as a child to look in the mirror becuase the eyes that looked back at me were not my own!
I would be interested to know if anyone else feels, as I do, that they have a seperate “energy” within them which looks out from their physical body?? If so, is it this which transfers from one time/location to another once the use for that particular physical shell is passed? Do you think there is a set limit per person, or does this range from individual to individual/awareness/experience? If there is a limit, what happens when you reach it – a higher consciousness with its own forms? Does everybody reincarnate?
Difficult to answer questions but would be interested to hear anyone’s thoughts.
I believe that we have energy, this cannot be destroyed, the energy is the soul.
I also believe in Karma, we have to evolve as souls, for in the end our aim is to be like the source(God) we do this through learning here on earth.
Ever read the book Destiny of Souls, or Journey of Souls, this will explain a lot about the world population, also incarnating as animals etc.
Last night I tried the Past Life Regression and I had a successful Regression!
I didn’t really see much, but it was what I had felt that I was able to tell…you see, I’ve been trying to find psychics who are able to tell me, and I’ve always been getting different answers from them all…but this one psychic proved to me that she WAS a psychic, so I decided to give it a try…and what I had felt was what she said from my very first human life, she said that I was a valkyrie, and that I had felt growing pains in my shoulder blades because I was growing wings, (I guess I cut them off after they grew) but last night I when I tried it, I felt pain in my shoulder blades unlike any pain I’ve ever experienced (as I was doing the regression)in my shoulder blades…my body was reacting as if it was ACTUALLY happening to me. In fact, I’m STILL in shock! It’s definately WORTH the money!!

Question regarding lesson 3

I have gone through the lessons 1 and 2 without any problems. As I came to the 3rd I have some questions that I need you to clarify.You have said-
“If that seems impossible to you, it means you are thinking in linear time. But just about every physicist and philosopher agrees that, out side of the space-time continuum, there is no such thing as time.
Which means that when you jump into that gap between lives, time does not exist. Which means those lifetimes simply cannot flow one after the other… they are all existing at the same time.
Which means all of your past lives are still happening… right now.”
Now my question to you is….. How does the same soul exist in different places at the same time? If you believe that is possible then how come we are not aware of all the different lives? may not be at the same moment but at the same time? I dont know if I am making sense but i want to know about this as i am quite curious. I do totally agree with your other points. and they do say the same in the indian texts. Please do ans. my questions so that my futher reading of lessons to come will be clearer.

Hi Sanyogita,
Opposite where I am sitting right now there is a radio playing BBC Radio 1. It’s a little noisey and slightly irritating actually.
I’m aware there are probably 50 – 100 other stations I could tune in to if I wanted – but I’ve chose Radio 1 for this moment in time.
It doesn’t mean the other stations aren’t there – it dooesn’t mean they do not exist or are not accessible.
It just means I have twiddled the focus button – ie tuning dial – to radio 1. If I had all the stations coming through at once it would be too much for me to handle.
However… if I were a character like ‘Data’ off Star Trek, I could listen to all 50 at once and enjoy them all simultaneously.
At the ’soul’ level or ‘entity’ level, we can listen to all stations at once. At the human level, we are highly focused, though can re-tune our dial with a bit of practice.

Great work Andrew, this blog series is great in that it raises many valid questions and encourages opinions. With this topic, what some hold forth as fact, others refute as nonsense. Questioning our very existence, I believe, is the next step on from traditional religion. Instead of a priest preaching universal truth, spiritualists search for their own… keeping in mind one persons truth may be different than another. Belief in Reincarnation has been documented for 5000 years. Its an amazing topic well worth exploring. The first step is definitely taking a past life regression – so you can better relate to the lessons you will learn. Nigel.
John, thanks for the book suggestions. I have nearly finished “Seth Speaks – The Eternal Validity of the Soul” and am now torn between reading “Many Lives Many Masters” or “Journey of Souls”. A friend has told me about “Old Souls – Scientific Search for Proof of Past Lives” in which they talk to chidren who have lived before. Has anyone read this?
I find it fascinating when the memories come from children as their comments are so direct and straightforward and, for want of a better phrase, close to the source. I have recently been advised of two instance of this within my own family : (a) my brother at about 3-4 years old, announced to my mum that “he hadn’t wanted to be born again…not yet!” and (b) my son (unknown to me) had told his nan when he was little that “when he was here before he loved her lots, now he still loves her but in a different way”. I hope one day they will both explore this further.
It is such a shame when people shy away from or in some cases even fear regression as it can be a liberating experience and helpful in assisting with issues/problems in this life, opening your eyes to more than just the immediate world around you.

You have some valid questions – I suggest reading “Reliving Past Lives” by Helen Wambach, PhD. (the original was printed in 1978, however, I have the Barnes & Noble, New York, 2000 edition). Ms. Wambach addresses these very questions and you’ll be amazed at her painstaking research – enjoy the read!

I am in the process of reading Journey of The Souls and, whilst it is fascinating, I have one question about the way in which it is done. Is it right to push/steer clients in the direction he wants rather than letting them pursue their own journey?
Another thing occurred to me, it would seem that at times many are sent back to re-experience/learn, evaluate errors and judgements etc – would you say it is possible that this would coincide with periods of overpopulation and discontent/upheaval throughout “history”.
Anybody have any thoughts, comments?

I am confused –should I or should I not believe past life regression !Hinduism says we do take birth again .But I have yet to meet someone who can convince me . help!!
I came across this blog and have to say that some of the comments are definitely interesting. I believe that meditation/awareness leads to a series of discoveries. This may also include past life regression. My opinion is that we should enjoy the journey and definitely look at various ideologies to help our journey. The main aspect is not to become too scientific in our approach and just enjoy the different stages of meditation.

Thank you for your site…its been very helpful in my quest for information. My husband (who is 25 years older than me) was swindled out of millions of dollars & credit for his work by someone in particular who died just under 3 months before I was born. So much of my current life has involved undoing the damage (40 years later) that this other person caused…and while painstakingly slow, I am making progress. My husband has joked by calling me by this person’s name when I ‘yell’ at him…I guess we use the same phrasing? I have half-seriously wondered if maybe I am the reincarnate of this person, and my assignment this time around is to make things right. I did my first at-home session yesterday and got a vision of a young boy around 4-6 years old at an abandoned house (it was ‘mine’ but empty of furniture) located in a field in the mid-west somewhere…early part of the 20th century (I saw a truck that dates it to the late teens / 20’s). I found out, the person who cheated my husband moved from Kansas to LA in 1922 at the age of 5. Maybe its a valid past life memory, or maybe my subconscious projected that vision based on thinking I could be him. The one thing that makes me more curious, is the fact I have problems with my left eye getting infected (had surgery on it at age 5)and my son was born almost blind in his left eye but his right eye has 20/20 vision. The person who stole from my husband was blinded in his left eye in an industrial accident and had a glass eye. I would like to ask someone with a greater understanding of these matters, what the significance of the left eye is and what the likelihood I was this other person in my last life? Again, he died 2 months and 3 weeks before I was born…does that time frame fit with any scientific theory of the transmigration of souls?
